現在、フランスでは、上記Grande vague de Hokusai 名で流行となっており、大変喜んでいました。
私個人は、他の日本工芸品を日本の工芸店の依頼で、フランスの国立美術•博物館内での展示販売の販促を行っています。ふろしきは、当地で、実用品というよりも装飾品として利用されていますが、残念ですが、私が購入した大型、中型の販売は、当地で見受けることは、殆どないか、あっても驚く程高額で、せっかくの日本文化拡散の機会を失しています。
もし、ご関心あれば、当地国立美術館の購買を一括担当する部署を紹介します。フランス側の決定となるため、確約はできませんが、個人的には、もっと手軽に、かつ多くのフランス人に購入できると良いなと思います。
